I braved the cold chill of the early morn, to venture off to the local Ralyes, store. I was hungry, and needed eggs, so I grabbed up the list on the fridge and went out in to the chill to scrape ice and warm my Ford Escape.
After some work the windows were clear and engine warm so I went to shop for provisions. I found what was needed and more, it seems that the bakery had just taken it's weekly fresh-baked french bread from the oven and put it out. I discovered to my joy, that the bread was still warm! I put to loves of the warm sweet, french bread in cart and quickly checked out with my mouth watering just thinking of the warm bread. On the way home I planned to heat up my chili beans I had made and have a unorthodox breakfast of chili and french bread. By the time I got it in the house, I could not wait even for the chili, so I abandoned my plan, and snatched the dish of butter out of the refridigator and ripped off and healthy chunk of fresh, warm french bread.
I did enjoy it so much with a cup of coffee. Isn't it funny how you can find such joy and pleasure in the simple things of everyday life?

GRAND CANYON
In November, 2010, Linda and I traveled to Grand Canyon. I have wanted to see it for years and was amazed at the vast rugged beauty I beheld. This is my first look at the park.
